Meet Our Board
Carol Waitte - Chair
Carol is the Executive Director of the Waitte Foundation, a family charitable foundation. She also is a member of the Board of Governors of Opportunity International, an organization that provides micro-loans and banking services to women in third world countries. Carol spent over 20 years working in the technology industry. She brings many years of experience in strategic planning, marketing, and management to the TFCC Board.
Jane Kennedy – Treasurer
Jane is the former owner and president of J.P. Meyer Kennedy Inc. in Campbell. Jane has supported the community since 1978 serving 2 years as the Mayor of the City of Campbell and 8 years with the City Council. She brings volunteer and business knowledge to the TFCC Board.
Francine Brown – Secretary
Francine is a long time transplant from the East Coast to the Silicon Valley. She has worked in high technology for over twenty five years, including GE Calma, Sun Microsystems, Taos and now Corsa Network Technologies in Campbell. She has held positions in contracts, program management, sales management and sales operations. Francine has contributed many volunteer hours at Notre Dame in San Jose, Bellarmine and St. Lawrence Academy. Francine brings her business and volunteer experience to the Board of TFCC, and looks forward to being involved in the community.
Albie Jachimowicz - Albie is an attorney and partner with the law firm of Hinkle, Jachimowicz, Pointer and Mayron. He is a trial lawyer, practicing adult and juvenile criminal defense for the past 21 years in Santa Clara County. Albie has been a member and officer of TFCC’s Board of Trustees since 1998.
Jan Sola – Jan has been responsible for the design and implementation of management and leadership development programs for the Executive Development Center, Leavey School of Business at SCU since 1996. From 1993-1996 she was Director of Program Development for HandsNet, Inc., the first online network for the human services community that fostered online collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and effective integration of online strategies. Based in Cupertino, CA, HandsNet, Inc. was funded initially by Apple Computer. Previously, Jan served as Director, Program Services for the YWCA of the USA, in New York, NY, where she developed national program initiatives focused on leadership, health and wellness, and work/life issues for women and girls. For eight years prior to this, Jan was Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. She received a Ph.D. and MS in Psychology from Iowa State University and a BA in Mathematics and Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.
